In medieval Conwy enjoy a visit to the famous castle or take a walk on the medieval town walls of Conwy – which are acclaimed to be the best preserved medieval town walls in Europe.
Enjoy a scenic drive along the old mail coach route through a stunning local mountain pass, featuring a picturesque backdrop with distant views across to the Isle of Anglesey.
On the Isle of Anglesey, no visit to Wales would be complete without visiting the town with the longest place name in Britain. Witness the beautiful panoramic views overlooking the spectacular Menai Straits and return to mainland via Thomas Telford’s spectacular suspension bridge.
At Caernarfon visit the royal UNESCO medieval castle where Prince Charles was invested as the Prince of Wales.
Enjoy a lunch stop at a former school in the mountains with stunning views of Snowdonia and afterwards enjoy the scenic mountains and lakeside location of the Snowdonia National Park and visit a Slate mine. You could even enjoy a slate splitting demonstration.
Enjoy the beauty of the mountains and valleys as we travel up through a former glacial field as we tour through three different scenic mountain passes and along the most scenic road in Wales and see the summit of Mount Snowdon (distant views – subject to visibility).
Visit the world famous Swallow Falls and the lovely welsh town of Betws-y-Coed. Make a visit to a ‘medieval church in the woods’, nestled on the banks of a river. Enjoy a short walk through riverside meadows to a sheep farm.
Discover a very traditional and scenic Welsh town that nearly became the capital of Wales with its 400 year old stone bridge. Take a walk around a scenic lake in a ‘hanging valley high above the valley floor.
Visit a traditional Wool mill or the home of a Celtic Pottery – hidden in the woods!
Tour enhancement: You might like to stop by the former 15th century medieval courthouse, which today serves lovely light lunches and welsh afternoon teas and of course you just have to sample the Welsh Rarebit for a real taste of Wales! The tour price is dependent on the number of persons taking the private tour, the time of year that you choose to tour, along with the tour duration that you choose and the start/end locations where we pick up and drop off.
Entrance fees to attractions / refreshments / lunch on the day and driver / tour guide gratuities are not included in the daily tour rates.
