Our Discover Snowdonia Tour takes you through a variety of scenic mountain passes and valleys, touring along the most beautiful picturesque and scenic roads, some of which are the old drover routes through beautiful pastures and farmland and touring on the most scenic road in Wales as we climb up and around Mount Snowdon. We will also show you the very best places from historic castles, to hidden scenic lakes, waterfalls, scenic quarries and mountain passes and we can even include a short walk or two during your touring day.

Dolbadarn Castle: A castle ruin of the Welsh Princes located in a stunning scenic setting between two lakes and our ‘hidden gem’ a scenic lagoon at the local abandoned quarry.
The Slate Museum: Enjoy a fascinating insight into the industrial world of slate production and witness a live Slate splitting demonstration.
Mount Snowdon: The highest Mountain in England and Wales at 3, 560 feet above sea level.
Swallow Falls: Enjoy one of the most scenic and stunning waterfalls in Wales.
The Ugly House: A unique building with a very interesting folk legend and an ideal place to stop for lunch or tea and scones!
Beddgelert: Rated as the most scenic village in the Snowdonia, where there is a beautiful riverside walk to enjoy and you can learn about the local legend of the village’s famous dog. You might like to consider stopping by one of the tea rooms/cafes or pubs for refreshments and a light bite to eat.
Betws-y-Coed: A lovely Victorian Spa town where you can discover a medieval church hidden in the woods, nestling beside a scenic river.
Dolwyddelan Castle: Discover this amazing medieval castle of the Welsh Princes and learn about their past. Be preparred for a short uphill hike. The site is set in an amazing location and sits high above the valley floor.
Ty Mawr: Enjoy a wonderful hidden gem of a site – a medieval farmhouse nestled in a secluded valley. (Resticted opening times).
Yr Ysgwrn: A hidden gem and inspirational setting of Welsh Culture. Discover a tranquil farm location with an amazing story about the life of Ellis Humphrey Evans, better known by his bardic name – Hedd Wyn. A Welsh poet, he was killed in action during the First World War.
A visit to the Snowdonia National Park is not complete without riding on one of our great little steam trains!
Ffestiniog Steam Railway: Operated by the world’s oldest railway company, this great little steam train operates on a 13½-mile journey between Blaenau Ffestiniog to the harbour in Porthmadog.
Welsh Highland Railway: This spectacular railway track takes you from coasts to coast
on 25 mile journey through the valleys below Mount Snowdon. We have isolated stations where we drop and pick up so you get to experience the best of the rail journey. Enjoy a lunch stop at a cider farm and sample one of the freshest cider’s produced from the local Snowdonia hills.
Snowdon Mountain Railway: Take the easy way up to the summit. On a beautiful day, this has to be one of the most spectacular railway journeys in the world! You need to allow 3 hours of your touring day to include this railway. The trains journey is an hour each way with 30 minutes at the summit and offers you a spectacular 360 degree panorama of the beautiful National Park.
