Our spectacular Tour of the scenic Conwy Valley area takes you off the main tourist trail to places that you would never find and we drive to many places that are not on the conventional touring map that the tour buses can’t even reach!
Featuring many hidden gems, this tour can be be taken from Llandudno, Bangor, Caernarfon, Betws-y-Coed or as a Day Visit Tour by train from London or as a Cruise Tour from Holyhead.

We now present a menu of places to visit and see in the area that we tour through.
From Llandudno, enjoy a scenic drive up and around the Great Orme Headland and Country Park, with stunning views of both the ocean and the river Conwy estuary.
Enjoy a drive across the Conwy Mountains along a back road that was formerly part of the old mail coach route between London and Dublin. We stop briefly at the head of a scenic mountain pass to view the stunning panorama of the valley below and distant views across the Conwy Bay.
Visit the medieval walled town of Conwy and its famous Unesco Castle.
Enjoy the scenic views as we drive through the Conwy Valley following the course of the river Conwy.
Choose to visit the famous National Trust Bodnant Gardens, which is rated as one of the most beautiful landscaped gardens in Britain.
Visit a 13th Century church which is sited on the base of a former roman fort and now surrounded by sheep farms.
Enjoy a drive up into a forest to visit a hidden ‘Hansel and Gretel’ style cottage, where the owner produces a very distinct style of Celtic pottery.
Tour along a single track road taking you off the beaten track to a secluded lake in a hanging valley and is one of Wales’s most beautiful lakes set in a stunning location of peace and tranquillity. There’s the option to take a wonderful walk (approximately 90 minutes) around the lake.
Visit a historic Wool Mill that draws it water and power from the very streams that flow down from the lake and where you can see the whole process of creating wool as a textile.
Discover an absolute ‘Hidden Gem’ – a 15th century Tudor Courtyard House, which is also very haunted!
Stop for lunch or an afternoon tea at a former 15th century medieval courthouse situated on the riverbanks.
Enjoy a country drive into the hills as we climb to a spectacular ridge high above the Conwy Valley floor to witness our ‘Secret View’ -a spectacular panorama of the Snowdonia National Park mountain peaks. (Subject to clear visibility/weather on the day).
Visit a secluded valley, travelling small country lanes, driving through forests and where we discover another great ‘Hidden Gem’ – a 15th century medieval farmhouse in a stunning remote location. Here you can witness real Welsh Culture and history at its very best.
Visit the pretty town of Betws-y-Coed and the medieval prayer house in the woods and the world famous and spectacular Swallow Falls.

Your actual tour price is dependent on a number of factors:
- The number of persons taking the private tour
- The time of year that you choose to tour
- The tour duration that you choose for your touring day
- The start and end locations where we pick you up and drop you off.
Our tour rates do not include: Entrance fees to Attractions / Refreshments, Drinks or Lunch on the day / Driver & Tour Guide Gratuities.
